Barix Langhorne First Saturday Meeting - March 3
When: Saturday, March 3, 2012
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Place: Barix Clinics, 280 Middletown Boulevard, Langhorne, PA 19047
Hello Fellow Journeyers,
It time for us to gather to discuss whatever things are on your mind in relation to YOUR journey, how it's going and what we can do to help one another as well as celebrate your successes.
So whether you're a new post-op, been around a while or still investigating your options, please feel free to come out and join us for support on this journey towards healthier and hopefully, as a by-product, happier life.
Our support group is open to all people, no matter where you had your WLS, or whether you've had it done yet, however, as always, I'd like to remind you that all surgeon's have their own regimens to follow, so while we can share our journey's, we will not advise anyone to do things differently from what they've been told by their own surgeon and the main focus of our group are the joys and issues as they relate to the post-surgery journey.
Remember that this month our format will be new in that we will have a board set up by the sign in table where you can write down a topic you would like to have as a focal point, we will look for a common thread and then break down into a couple of groups to discuss some of those topic items, those that don't get discussed this month will be tabled and brought up at another meeting in the near future. So put on your thinking caps and let's move forward!
As always, I look forward to seeing you there and believe Barbara the nutritionist will be in attendance should you need to purchase any supplements or need a little nutritional guidance on your journey.

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
